Behind the Scenes: My Branding Process for Conscious Entrepreneurs
Branding is more than just a logo or a color palette. It’s about creating a visual identity that feels authentic, aligned, and functional—one that truly represents the essence of your business.
For coaches, yoga teachers, breathwork facilitators, and concious entrepreneurs in the personal development space, branding isn’t just about aesthetics. It’s about attracting the right clients, building trust, and creating an online presence that reflects your values and energy.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Ilze Altroka, a meditation teacher and dance studio owner to design her brand identity and website. Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at my process and how we brought her vision to life.
Phase 1: Creative Discovery

Before diving into design, we start with clarity.
Ilze completed an in-depth brand questionnaire, which helped us define her mission, values, ideal clients, and visual preferences. We then hopped on a Creative Discovery Zoom call to refine her brand message and align on the direction.
I also gave her an assignment to create a Pinterest brand vibe mood board, a fun way to visually explore the “feel” of her brand. Ilze was drawn to warm earthy tones, and a modern yet inviting aesthetic—elements that would shape the rest of the design process.
In response I created a pinterest board collecting colors and branding I thought might align with her vibe as seen above.
Phase 2: Designing the Brand
With a strong foundation in place, I started crafting Ilze’s brand identity. This phase includes:
Logo Design – I presented a few logo variations, each with different font and composition styles. Ilze wanted something elegant, yet approachable, with a sense of flow that reflects her work in breathwork and transformation.
Color Palette – Inspired by nature and warmth, we curated a palette of soft neutrals and earthy hues that feel grounding yet uplifting.
Typography – The selected fonts needed to feel both modern and timeless, striking a balance between structure and fluidity.
Once the logo and brand assets were finalized, I put everything together in a Brand Style Guide—a roadmap for Ilze to maintain brand consistency across all platforms.
Phase 3: Website Buildout
A brand isn’t complete without a cohesive online presence, so the next step was designing Ilze’s website. Since her work revolves around deep transformation, it was important to create a site that felt calming, intuitive, and easy to navigate.
We focused on:
User Experience (UX) – A clean, spacious layout that guides visitors seamlessly through her offerings.
Brand Consistency – Every page was designed to match her new brand identity, from fonts to colors and imagery.
Conversions & Functionality – We integrated clear calls to action, making it easy for visitors to book sessions and learn more about her work.
Ilze’s new website now feels aligned with her brand, giving her the confidence to show up online and attract the right clients effortlessly.
Phase 4: Post-Launch Support
Launching a website is just the beginning. After the site went live, I provided video tutorials on how to update and manage her website, empowering her to make small edits as needed. A final Zoom call was also made available for any last questions, ensuring a smooth transition into her new online presence.
