What is a Brand Vibe Moodboard?
A Brand Vibe Moodboard is a curated collection of images that capture the aesthetic, mood, and style of your brand. It helps you visually define what your brand feels like and sets the foundation for your logo, color palette, typography, and overall brand identity.
Your moodboard isn’t just about picking pretty pictures—it’s about intentionally choosing visuals that align with your brand’s values and audience.
Step-by-Step: How to Create Your Own Brand Vibe Moodboard
Step 1: Set Up a Pinterest Board
Pinterest is the perfect tool for collecting visual inspiration. If you don’t have an account yet, create one and start a new secret board for your brand moodboard.
Tip: Keep the board private if you’re still experimenting and refining your vision.
Step 2: Collect 20-25 Images That Feel Like Your Brand
Now, the fun part! Browse Pinterest and start pinning images that resonate with your brand’s vibe. Don’t overthink it—just save what visually speaks to you.
What to Pin:
Photography – What kind of imagery represents your brand? Is it soft and airy? Bold and vibrant? Dark and moody?
Color Palettes – Look for colors that match the energy of your brand.
Textures & Patterns – Think about materials, backgrounds, and design elements that fit your aesthetic.
Logos & Typography – What kind of fonts and logo styles do you love?
Illustrations & Graphics – If your brand will use illustrations, what style do you gravitate toward?
Packaging & Branding Examples – Find real-world brands that embody the vibe you want.

Step 3: Refine & Identify Themes
Once you have at least 20-25 images, take a step back and look for patterns. What common themes are emerging? Are you seeing a lot of neutral tones or bold colors? Does your brand feel modern and minimal or playful and quirky?
Make some notes about the key themes you’re noticing. This will help guide your branding direction.
Step 4: Define Your Brand Vibe in Words
To bring everything together, write down a few adjectives that describe your brand’s aesthetic and personality.
Here are some examples:
Earthy, grounding, organic, minimal
Bold, high-contrast, edgy, modern
Soft, feminine, airy, elegant
Having these words alongside your moodboard will help you stay consistent when making branding decisions.
